"The incident happened around 9.30 a.m.," the officer added. The victim, a resident of Naraina area in west Delhi, succumbed to her injuries at the Safdarjung Hospital.
"The assailant fled from the spot after firing at the girl's neck. The motive behind the murder is still unknown, we are investigating," the police officer said.
Radhika's father Rajender Singh said: "I just got a call that my daughter has been shot and then rushed to the Safdarjung Hospital, where they declared her dead. I have no clue what's happening... the police is refusing to say anything."
