PATNA: Parents, beware! Cops on Tuesday found condoms in cybercafés as they caught 40-odd couples in compromising position. In one of the cybercafés, there was also a bed for those who found the congested cubicles too uncomfortable.
There's more. Most of the couples were students in the age group 16 to 18 years, belonging to well-off families.
"It was shocking," SP (City) Shivdeep Lande told TOI after raiding the 12-13 cybercafes in Gandhi Maidan, Kadamkuan, Pirbahore, Kotwali and Buddha Colony police station areas.
The teens tried to run away, but the policemen pounced on them. They were herded to the police station of the area from where the girls were let off __ after a warning. "Their detention might have brought disrepute to their families," Lande said.
The boys were detained and their parents summoned to the police station. They were released only after their parents filled up personal bonds, Lande said and added the owner of the cybercafé from where the condoms were recovered, would be arrested.
