New Delhi: A woman who was shot dead on a busy road in
North West Delhi was allegedly murdered by a man related to her
husband's ex-wife, says the Delhi Police, who has arrested the man.Meenakshi Rana was dropping her young son to school in a rickshaw in Rohini when a gunman on a bike pulled up and fired at her several times. The shooter then escaped.
Newspapers report that Mrs Rana at first tried to dodge bullets by hiding behind cars and trees but the gunman was able to catch up with her. After killing her, he escaped on his bike.
Mrs Rana had allegedly married her husband before he formally divorced his first wife, according to the police.
