Guwahati : A total of 31 kg of ganja (cannabis) was seized from a New
Delhi-bound train in Assam's Kokrajhar district Monday and two people
were arrested, police said.
The drug was being smuggled from Dimapur in Nagaland to Delhi.
"We searched Rajdhani Express following a tip off. The ganjas were
hidden in one suitcase and two travel bags," a police official said.
Police refused to name the arrested people.
The search was carried out jointly by the Government Railway Police (GRP) and Assam Police.
